Michael Vick

We all probably know Michael Vick’s name, but not because of his football career. Unfortunately, Vick was arrested in 2007 for his involvement in an illegal dog fighting ring. The incident drew national attention, and many thought Vick’s career was over as a result of the bad press and his poor decision-making.

However, Vick came back to football after serving his time. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 and went on to play with them for about four to five years. Every once in a while, the NFL likes to give disgraced players a redemption arc. Lucky for Vick, he was able to turn his life and career around thanks to this second chance.
