Daunte Culpepper

Former quarterback Daunte Culpepper has an interesting life story that is pretty inspiring. His biological mother was pregnant with Daunte while she was in a correctional institute for armed robbery. When he was only a day old, he was adopted by Emma Lewis Culpepper, a woman who worked at the facility where his bio mom was serving her sentence.

Culpepper grew up as one of fifteen kids in Emma’s household, and he credits most of his NFL success to her. Interestingly, Culpepper’s uncle is Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson, a famous former NFL linebacker. It seems that Culpepper always had football running through his veins, no matter his tumultuous childhood circumstances. He was meant for greatness.
