Herschel Walker

Whether or not you agree with Herschel Walker’s politics, there’s no denying that he’s an accomplished athlete. During his tenure as a running back, he played with the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, and many other teams. He’s a pretty big deal as far as NFL history goes, but he has also experienced his own hardships and setbacks.

Walker grew up with a stutter and was slightly overweight. Kids are cruel, so he was made fun of pretty badly growing up in Georgia. However, Walker used the negative energy from his haters to motivate him to be the very best. He was a motivated student and football player, and that hard work paid off.
