Curtis Martin

We all have at least one person in our life whom we know we were meant to meet. That person usually changes the course of our life in ways that we don’t fully realize and appreciate until many years later. A pastor was that special person for former NFL running back Curtin Martin.

Martin’s pastor was the one who encouraged him to channel his energy into football. This pastor knew that Martin had a troubled home life full of abuse and neglect, so he suggested that the young Martin take out all his anger and frustration into the sport. That advice paid off because Martin is now considered one of the greatest running backs of all time.
