Najee Harris

Remember this name: Najee Harris. He’s an up-and-coming football player who is currently a running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was signed by the team right out of college after playing for the University of Alabama. But Najee, like many of us, has faced more than his fair share of hardship.

Growing up, his mom struggled to make ends meet. He is one of five kids in his family, and his mom’s single income could barely sustain them. As a result, Harris experienced homelessness as a child and spent time at different shelters with his family. Thankfully, Harris has been able to share his success with his community. He recently renovated one of the shelters he and his family stayed at when he was just a little kid with big dreams.
