Arian Foster

Going undrafted after being a college football superstar never feels good. In fact, it’s probably downright stressful. Imagine working day and night to have a successful college football career, only to graduate without another job lined up. That’s what happened to Arian Foster when he graduated in 2009. To be fair, there were several other factors at play.

When Foster was a senior at the University of Tennessee, he had a less-than-stellar season. He didn’t play that well, and rumors swirled that he was hard to coach. Also, he was arrested for an altercation at a nightclub while in college. Yikes. Despite these setbacks, he went on to sign with the Houston Texans with a $43.5 million contract. It just goes to show that people can bounce back from setbacks, despite the challenges in their way.
