Devonta Freeman

We all know Devonta Freeman as the talented running back who played with the Atlanta Falcons. A lot of fans don’t know that he struggled to make ends meet before he became a professional football player. Growing up, Freeman worked three jobs to help his mom pay the bills and make rent.

He worked those three jobs on top of going to school full-time. He played college football at Florida State, after which his life totally changed. Even though he was dropped from the Falcons after a few years, he still made quite a bit of money as a free agent. Rumor has it that Freeman is worth about $16 million. Sometimes, hard work and perseverance really do pay off.
