#25: Kids in the SummerTime
The little child still living within me feels somewhat betrayed by the cruel world around him. I had no greater wish as a youngster than the desire to experience a carwash in this particular way. Now, knowing that it was once a possibility, the pain is increased, as if something was taken away from me.

It shows that our modern world is sometimes too governed by rules and boundaries. I’m not saying I’m against rules and boundaries altogether. I understand that they protect us from many dangers that used to run rife. I just can’t help but think that we pay prices for that safety.
