#35: 300, Part II

In BC era Persia, the kings certainly lived like, well, kings. They had massive amounts of wealth and used much of it to create decadent surroundings. Just look at the size of this crazy bed, for example! So, of course, you need a ginormous bedroom that can accommodate a bed of such epic proportions.

The set designers might be able to build a room that could accommodate, but why bother when it is only for a brief scene? We’re betting that it was most likely less expensive to create a green screen palace room than build one. Still, we wouldn’t mind having our bedrooms look like this! Mine can’t even fit a bed of this size.
