#22: Infinity War

Thanos is the big baddie in the Marvel universe. He’s terrifying and deadly, and he is enormous. So how did they find the right actor to portray this larger-than-life character? Well, they hired actor Josh Brolin to portray Thanos, but he isn’t a giant Titan. So instead, they used Josh as the character base, and CGI’d Thanos right over his features.

What we see on screen is entirely computer generated. The filmmakers filmed Josh as he acted the role and then, frame by frame, generated Thanos over him. They even matched Josh’s facial expressions perfectly, making Thanos a very realistic villain. No wonder we find him so frightening.
