#45: Sticking It Out

Usually, there’s a sizeable stretch of time between major hurricanes that hit Florida—often, it’s a gap of several years. But every now and then, they just get really unlucky, and they get pummeled by major storms one after the other.

In a way, it really makes me admire the people of Florida. I think that if I got pummeled by one major storm, I’d be tempted to pack up and leave, but these people stick it out, hurricane after hurricane after hurricane. They’re very tough. Or crazy. Or stubborn. Or all three.
