#13: Dangerous Diner
Oh, Waffle House; one of the most unique cultural artifacts of the American South. For those of you unfamiliar with this gem, it is a ubiquitous fast food chain that serves breakfast foods at more than 1900 locations across the American South; all of the locations are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If you’ve ever heard of Waffle House, it’s probably not because of the food; it’s probably because violence has the propensity to break out there. You may have heard the news report recently of a Waffle House fight breaking out, where a customer threw a chair at an employee, and the employee deflected it in mid-air like some kind of Jedi. Between that incident and this tweet, you should have a pretty good sense of what Waffle House can be like.
