The fact that someone like Messi is playing for an American team is kind of crazy, and the average person is hyper-aware of that fact. Sure, Messi is going to spend a lot of time in major cities like New York and Los Angeles, but knowing that he is also going to hanging out in places like Foxborough is definitely strange.
