Let’s Watch a Movie

Ah, the classic couple’s dispute that we’ve all witnessed at some point. It often starts with one partner declaring, “I won’t fall asleep this time, promise!” The other, naturally skeptical, fires back with a pointed, “But you always say that!” The argument escalates with a defensive, “I know, this time it will be different!” Yet, like clockwork, it never really is.

And, surprise, surprise, she inevitably dozes off. Not a shocker to her significant other, who, by the look of it, seems thoroughly exasperated but also strangely amused by the whole ordeal. Maybe she’s just so incredibly comfortable in her partner’s arms that the allure of snuggling up and drifting into slumber is simply too strong to resist. Who can blame her for seeking that coziness?
