Gerard Butler’s left ear has a little secret – it likes to stand out more than its counterpart, but it’s a subtle distinction that often escapes notice. Surprisingly, the actor himself remained blissfully unaware of this unique feature until he stepped into the shoes of his Tomb Raider character. To say he’s untroubled by it would be an understatement.

“I didn’t even notice it until I had to rock the bald look for that film,” Gerard shared with Men’s Journal magazine. “And then, everyone’s like, ‘Whoa, one of your ears really knows how to steal the spotlight!’ Now, that’s what I call a surprising revelation.”
