Adulterous Problems

I must say that dad jokes are a genre of their own. They have a special ability to make you cringe and laugh at the same time. And this one is no exception. I mean, the cherry on top of this joke is the underlying suggestion that the dad is so out of touch that he doesn’t even realize his wife could potentially be cheating on him with his friend.

It’s hilarious and a bit absurd, but that’s what makes it a perfect addition to any dad joke compilation. Just don’t try telling it to your own wife unless you’re prepared for a serious eye-roll. And yet, despite all of this, the joke still manages to be endearing. It’s the kind of humor that dads everywhere excel at – a little bit goofy, a little bit corny, but ultimately, kind-hearted and well-intentioned.
