Wheel of Manipulation

The mother of the person telling this story is a regular viewer of Wheel of Fortune, but she is not all that convinced that the show is a fair contest. Instead, she’s under the impression that when a contestant is performing particularly well, the producers manipulate the wheel so that the contestant loses all of the money they have won so far.

But the theory does not end there. This woman also believes that the game is biased towards young, good-looking ladies and that the producers try to make those kinds of contestants win as often as possible. Perhaps we’re picking up on a bit of jealousy here, but it’s never fair to make bold claims without evidence, right?
