Deliberate Misspellings

At times, it can seem like the baristas at Starbucks can misspell even the simplest names. If you go there often enough, you’ve likely experienced this when you take a look at your cup after you receive your order. But what if all those poor spelling choices were intentional?

This conspiracy theorist is fully invested in the idea that Starbucks trains its employees to deliberately spell names wrong. By missing the mark so badly, they hope that more and more people will post the misspellings on social media for a laugh. But at the end of the day, Starbucks will laugh the hardest because all of those posts are free advertising for them.
