#21: Panera Bread

Despite its popularity, especially among college sorority members, Panera Bread has faced criticism for its hygiene standards. An ex-employee revealed all the less-than hygienic ways the beloved establishment goes about their business.

Apparently, their supposedly fresh soups actually arrive frozen in bags and are thawed out in a less-than-sanitary sink filled with heating elements. And as if that wasn’t eyebrow-raising enough, cleanliness takes a backseat during hectic dinner rushes, leaving much to be desired in the sanitation department.
