#25: Girl Time

Different cultures have different attitudes toward nudity. This story goes to show that the phrase “different strokes for different folks” will always be true. Our storyteller took their kids to the community pool one day. She was shocked to see two older women painting each other’s toenails in the pool’s locker room. The nail polish part wasn’t what shocked her. 

These women had absolutely no clothes on! Our storyteller assumed the women had taken a senior citizen aquatic class at the pool, which would account for their nudity. Who wants to do their nails in a squishy, wet bathing suit? Not us! These women had reached an age where they didn’t care what others thought about them. We love that.
