#39: Daddy Issues

There is no denying that whether you are close or not with your dad, there will always be something difficult there. Sure, dads are great, but one way or another, they often manage to leave us with hard feelings. But sometimes, it is the other way around, and it is the child that leaves the hard feeling behind.

This dad left his daughter the mirror in the hallway of his home so that she could “take a good, long hard look at herself.” Suppose our dad said that to us; we would be beside ourselves… Talk about being poetic and hurtful all at the same time.
