#18: Not Playing Favorites…

No matter how many times our parents or grandparents tell us they aren’t playing favorites, we always seem to know who their favorites are… Sure, technically, parents and grandparents aren’t meant to have favorites, but that isn’t how things always work out in reality.

Can you imagine how the other grandchildren must have felt when they realized they weren’t going to be the executors of their grandmother’s will? It might not have meant much, but seeing as she was giving this person 5% and the other grandchildren nothing, it would have been clear what was happening.
