#4: What Will the Future Hold?

Predicting the future isn’t an easy thing to do; however, people have been trying to do it for centuries. Even though people’s predictions rarely ever come true, it’s fun to imagine how the world will be, and more often than not, the theories say more about the present than anything else. 

The Victorians thought we’d be walking on water by the year 2000! It says a lot that they imagined that humans would put all their energy into solving problems instead of what we do today. The world was such a different place back then that couldn’t have even come close to imagining how we live today.
