Initially, the interview appeared to be proceeding smoothly, but it soon took an unexpected turn. One of the interviewers inquired about Bialik’s mathematical prowess, specifically asking how quickly she could solve calculus problems on the fly—a query tied to her role on The Big Bang Theory. Little did they know that Bialik had not only studied calculus but held a doctorate in neuroscience.
