44. Jon Bon Jovi
It seems as if most celebrities focus their charity efforts on developing countries, while the A-list singer Jon Bon Jovi acts to improve hunger and homelessness in the U.S. Thus, he started the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. At the aim of breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty in U.S communities, among other efforts, in 2011, it opened the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Kitchen, a restaurant where costumers pay what they can afford, with money or volunteer work.

The Soul Kitchen, despite what the name suggests, has other goals: it is also aimed at helping people who have trouble entering the job market or otherwise maintaining a job. In 2015, they opened a program that provides assistance such as job coaching, financial counseling, etc.
