Madonna is an inspirational figure not just thanks to her music, her iconic style, and her mark in the entertainment industry, but also thanks to her admirable charity efforts. One of her most significant accomplishments was co-founding the Raising Malawi charity, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the extreme poverty of Malawi’s orphans.

Since the foundation started its operation in 2006, it marked many accomplishments. By 2013, for example, they had built ten schools at a value of $400,000 to support the education of Malawi children.
