30. Eva Longoria
When actress Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) accumulated fame and fortune, her first mission was aiding the mentally disabled (both children and adults). Thus, she founded Eva’s Heroes – an after school program for special needs children in San Antonio, Texas. Longoria made it the first priority in her many charitable endeavors since her older sister belongs to that group, and according to the actress, she is her hero.

But her work doesn’t end there. Longoria has also worked in the past decade to contribute and develop the place of Latinos and the Hispanic community in the entertainment industry and the culture industry. Her work awarded her with the “Latina Visionary and Community Empowerment” award.
