#4: I’m Just Saying…

There’s this thing where you’re trying to have a real talk about the wild ride of being a woman – you know, the expectations that you gotta be both a boss and a beauty, sweet but not too sweet, strong but not too strong – and boom, suddenly it’s a competition. You can’t even vent without someone chiming in with the whole “but what about the guys?” spiel.

It’s like, can we have a minute? Just one minute where women’s issues don’t get hijacked? It’s the classic, eye-roll-worthy experience so many women have. It’d be hilarious if it weren’t so darn predictable. We’re not saying we want to do this all the time, but every once in a while without feeling guilty would be nice…
