Vacations are like a sampler platter of local delights and inevitable quirks. There’s always the must-visit natural history museum where you pretend to understand evolution while staring at dino bones. Then, you’ve got the local zoo, where you make friends with a goat that seems to think you’re the interesting exhibit.

And don’t forget the pirate-themed bar that pops up in every city because nothing says authentic local experience, like sipping grog and talking like Jack Sparrow. But the real treat? The tourist shop owner, glaring at tourists as if his life choices are suddenly questionable.
