A Long, Strange Trip

Melanie seems to have recently gone to a Chinese restaurant, where she did not like her experience. The restaurant owner’s response, however, reveals much more to the story—a story that keeps getting revealed piece by piece, like the layers being peeled back on an onion.

First, the owner tells us that Melanie has been there before and told them that she really liked it. Then she tells us that other people have ordered the same dishes that Melanie got and really enjoyed them. And then we get to the big reveal, which is that Melanie threatened to smash a window during her visit. Honestly, this story is a rollercoaster of emotion.
