We’ve Got to Fight Food Waste Somehow
When some restaurant owners get bad reviews, they worry. They talk to all of their staff to figure out what went wrong. They pull up the customer’s order to make sure it matches what they got. They write long explanations or apologies under the customer’s review. They offer discounts if the person comes back.

Other customers don’t bother with any of that nonsense. Maybe their restaurant is popular enough that they’re not worried about one bad review, or maybe they’re just the sort of people who don’t get worked up about that sort of thing. Either way, I aspire to have the sort of confidence that lets you blithely tell an angry customer that you’re glad their dog ate your food.
