A Hairy Situation

Storytime: a few years ago, I got a pixie cut because I had always wanted one and also because I wanted to stick it to people who think that girls should have long hair. I really liked having my hair off my neck, but also I have round features, so I mostly just looked like a little boy, which is why I ended up growing it out again (that and the fact that I had to get it cut every three weeks to maintain the shape I wanted).

The point is that if this delivery person had short hair as I did, I could understand why Leanne thought she was a young boy. What I can’t figure out is why Leanne felt the need to mention the age and gender of the delivery person in the review. Was this a subtle dig to tell the delivery girl that she didn’t think her haircut looked good?
