Year They Came Out of the Closet: 2013

In August 2013, Raven-Symoné expressed her excitement over the legalization of same-sex marriage, sharing, “I’m happy to learn today that more states have legalized gay marriage… it’s wonderful to know I can now, should I desire to.”

In a 2014 interview with Oprah Winfrey, she rejected labels, stating she was “American” and “a person who loves humans.” Raven-Symoné dated model and actress AzMarie Livingston from 2012 to 2015. When that relationship ended, she found love again with Miranda Maday, a social media manager, and the two tied the knot in June 2020.
