Rethinking the Traditional Depiction of Jesus
Across numerous churches, paintings, and statues, we encounter various depictions of Jesus, but how accurate are these representations of the divine son? European-art-inspired renditions usually present Him with blue eyes and blonde hair, a portrayal that may not truly reflect His historical appearance.

Considering Jesus’s birth through immaculate conception, it’s logical to assume His physical traits would mirror those of His mother, Mary, a Hebrew woman. This suggests Jesus would more likely have had tan to brown skin, sported a full beard, and worn curly hair, aligning with the appearance of a traditional Hebrew man.
