Original Languages of the Biblical Texts
Originally composed in ancient variants of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, the biblical texts are a testament to their times. Modern speakers of these languages would find themselves at a loss, unable to decipher or translate the texts as written in those distant centuries.

The tapestry of the Bible is woven with threads from history’s loom: Ancient Hebrew stretches back to 1500 BC, while Ancient Aramaic, hailing from northern Syria, flourished between the 11th and 8th centuries BCE. Greek, the oldest recorded language, offers linguistic roots dating back to 1350 BC.
