#26: Tanya Tucker, Clint Black, Travis Tritt, and The Judds
What were you expecting—Nirvana doing an Unplugged encore? This was classic, wholesome, all-American country entertainment, and it delivered exactly what it promised. Featuring some of Nashville’s biggest stars at their peak, it was a solid, if predictable, lineup—except for the Judds, who were deep into their never-ending farewell tour.

Poor Wynonna was holding her own as a solo act until her mother unexpectedly crashed the stage. No surprises, no risks—but in a Super Bowl halftime gig, sometimes playing it safe is the most brilliant move. It wasn’t groundbreaking but a polished, professional, and pure country.
