7. What a Plethora of Idiots
There is apparently an archaic definition to the word Plethora, which means the swelling of a certain body part. In medical terms, it means an excess of blood. But somehow, I doubt the person who got in trouble here was using it in either of those ways, and it is definitely not a swear word.

What I would really like to know, however, is why the heck would you get sent to the principal’s office for using an archaic swear word? Or a swear word in the first place? Sure, maybe it’s inappropriate, and you could try to redirect the kid away from speaking in that way. But to send them to the principal’s office over it?
