50. School of the Stupid

This feels like a crime against humanity. Children are far more intelligent than some adults seem to give them credit for; in this case, I’m convinced it simply comes down to adults being utterly lazy. There’s no other excuse for this sort of nonsense.

Sure, you can wait until a child is a bit older to teach them certain things, but to intentionally give them misinformation simply to keep them quiet until they’re “old enough to understand”? That is not okay, no matter what the circumstances. This is actually enraging.
