48. This Sort of Behavior Would Have Left Me Crestfallen

What a mad, mad world we live in. A kid with a good vocabulary should be encouraged, not torn down like this. As a teacher, it’s your responsibility to fact-check. How difficult could it be to just double-check a dictionary before grading this paper?

In that respect, no one can really blame this poster for losing all respect for teachers. It would destroy my faith in them as well. School really isn’t good for some of us, you know? It has caused more harm than good in a lot of people.
