45. Are We Talking Law or Reality Here?
Well, I mean, if we’re talking realistically, it does seem to be the case, depending on who is on trial. People will be convinced someone is guilty under all circumstances until proven innocent, even if the law is intended to be “innocent until proven guilty.” Alas, when does anything ever work as intended?

In this case, I would almost side with the teacher who was unfortunately right about the truth of life but was likely not teaching the law properly and the difference between it and how corrupt the system can be. Or, at the least, how people’s biases can blind them. There’s a whole lesson here!
