42. An Abysmal Display of Intelligence

This has to be a strange observation to be making and telling your students. Of all things, why would you just say crayon is the only word with a “y” in the middle? It doesn’t take a whole lot of intelligence or grasp of the English language to know this isn’t the truth.

You don’t even need a particularly big vocabulary; there’s no logic behind it. Oh well. Hopefully, the kids in the class had enough sense as the poster did to see through this particular statement. Pfft. Crayon being the only word with a “y” in the middle. Absolute nonsense.
