The moon rising as night is a beautiful sight, bright and usually of a yellowish-white color, which can change sometimes with celestial shifts. But no, the moon does not emit light, and it is concerning there was a teacher claiming it does.

Sometimes as a teacher it’s important to be willing to listen to corrections when you make mistakes, but when a child knows something you don’t, it can be hard on the ego of some. Unfortunately, it seems to have been exactly the case in this situation. A true shame.
