34. Books Teaching Things? Not in My Classroom
The good news is, the story in this post continues to elaborate that the next day, the teacher brought an encyclopedia and admitted the student was right in front of the class, along with an apology. In this regard, this teacher fully earns my respect.

Sometimes, we have a knee-jerk reaction, and especially when a child is correcting you, and you’re in a teaching position, it could be easy for the ego to take over for a moment. This teacher, however, realized that not only were they wrong but had also acted impulsively without thought and apologized for both. A great lesson for the kids and a teacher worth respecting.
