33. I Spent All Night at the Park, and Nothing!

We’ve all been lied to, we’ve been deceived! Tried every park, even spent a full night sleeping on the bench, and nothing. What a disappointment–erm, I mean, what a great thing. Ahem. Yes. The teacher must have been wrong, but surely we were well educated to say no if such an occurrence should happen.

Sometimes teachers seem a bit paranoid and overly concerned for children; it’s true that there are plenty of risks and dangers, but sometimes you have to trust kids a bit more (depending on the kid) to be smarter and scrappier than they’re given credit for.
