13. Well Color Me Surprised–Or Red, at the Least

This one, I am embarrassed to admit, is something I didn’t know until I saw that. It is that much of a widespread misconception among schools, and plenty of us are being lied to. As it is, your blood looks blue for other reasons, but that is not the actual color of it.

Science really does seem to be the most poorly taught subject at school, which is not good given how important it is to know these things when going about life. In a world of ever-evolving technology, we should know about the origins of it and how it all functions.
