Say No to Kicking Dogs

OK, so everything about this story is distressing. We’ve already established that I’m not a dog person, but even so, I don’t like to hear about someone kicking their dog for the terrible crime of standing between this guy and his fridge. Second, how much beer was on that shelf if it broke? Maybe this guy’s relationship with alcohol is the reason he thinks it’s okay to kick the family dog.

So, you know, I guess there was some karmic retribution in that the guy had to go to the store and get more beer, but I kind of wish the guy had seen genuine consequences for abusing his dog. We don’t know the full story here and whether or not this was a one-time incident, but some people truly don’t deserve to be dog owners.
