Don’t Let the Door Hit You on the Way Out
Anyone who tells you that the customer is always right has never worked in a retail position before. I guess it’s a useful motto if you want to keep your customers happy … but at what cost? Because customers are not always right; sometimes, they are deeply wrong and rude, and offensive for no reason.

It would be satisfying enough to have the authority to kick someone who was being awful out of your store, but it’s ten times better when that customer tries to make a dramatic exit, but he can’t shut the door and his attempt to do so actually causes him to fall over. That is quality payback right there.
