#10: Hello?

It’s said that the world works in mysterious ways. We, humans, are always trying to theorize about the rules that govern those mysterious ways, inventing all kinds of stories that make us feel like we have some sort of understanding about it. But somehow, none of those stories quite account for events as mystical as these.

There were a lot of strange circumstances that needed to occur together in order to create the conditions for this sister’s friend to answer a phone call accidentally intended for her. I wonder whether she bothered to tell the caller that they’d dialed the wrong number or just let it be.
