Sugared Blood Samples
While this ghastly goodie looks hard to recreate, you can easily do this at home by making sugared glass and carefully cutting it with a heated blade, and then using food dye to dot the blood on. This became an internet sensation in 2014, and there are many recipes online to guide you through the how-to.

Personally, I’m not sure I’d be able to stomach eating shards of blood-covered glass, regardless of what they’re made out of, but to each their own! They’re perfect for the more serious Halloween lovers out there, and the sugared glass technique can be used to dress up many of the bloody cakes and treats we’ve shown you!
