Knife to the Head?

A lot of work went into this hideous cake, but it still gives me the heebie-jeebies! I much prefer skulls over disembodied faces crying blood for my desserts. Beggars can’t be choosers, though, and knowing there are delicious cakey sweets underneath all that fake skin still has me wanting to cut it open and take a bite!

They even left a nifty knife to make it easy! It might be less off-putting if they hadn’t done such a good job recreating rotting flesh. Those lips look shockingly real, even if the brows leave a little to be desired. I wonder how many dead faces they studied before making this culinary confection?
